Not really a dedicated music venue, Retro on 8th is a store dedicated to the cool things of the mid-century modernity...furniture, lighting, accessories and collectibles from the 1950's through 1980's. Proprietors Jennifer Horovitz and Hayley Kile have been huge supporters of Watermelon Sugar, and the band played one of our first shows at an open house at the store back in early 2004.
Louise played here as part of the NC Songwriters Cooperative -- WS will be playing here soon!
A fun place in Adams Morgan with great music and a balcony from which roses or beer bottles can be thrown depending on whether you love or hate the band...
